Chelsea Guarantee 60

Chelsea Building Society has announced the launch of Chelsea Guarantee 60 savings account with effect from Wednesday 20 December 2006.

The variable rate is guaranteed to be no lower than 0.25% below Bank of England Base Rate up to and including 3 June 2008.

Annual interest is first paid on 1 December 2007 and annually thereafter. A monthly interest option is also available if required.

Withdrawals until 3 June 2008 can be made penalty-free subject to 60 days’ prior written notice. Notice-free withdrawals are subject to 60 days’ loss of interest on the amount withdrawn. The account becomes instant access from 4 June 2008.
