Save over £150? You can with a Canon
The cheapest shopping websites can save hundreds of pounds on Christmas gifts this year, reveals Which? Compare, the price comparison service from the consumer organisation.Which? Compare looked at the top Christmas presents*, including the hottest gadgets and toys, to find out where the best savings can be made. Buying the Canon EOS 45OD digital camera, with 18-55mm IS lens, from Pixmania rather than Dell saved £153**.
There were big differences between the cheapest and most expensive websites for many of the present ideas, with many of the lowest prices at Amazon. Other super-savings include:
£80 by buying the Pleo interactive dinosaur from Amazon (£195) rather than the pricier Great Universe (£275)
£47 on a 16 GB silver Apple iPod from Pixmania (£133) rather than the more costly Freemans (£180)
£28 for a Pure Evoke Flow internet radio at Amazon or Home Cinema TV (£125) rather than Bennetts (£153).

Compare, can save hundreds of pounds on gifts, and it's also a great way to avoid the busy shopping centres this weekend!"
