Anyone For Tennis? Get Kitted Out Before Hitting The Court

The tennis season is well underway and with the sun shining at Wimbledon many of us are yearning to get on the courts once more. Up until now there’s been a real problem for tennis loving fashionistas, as much tennis-wear can leave you courting disaster with its shiny fabrics, unflattering clingy cuts, hugely visible branding and garish colours. However, the girls at luxe sportswear brand Millie Fox have come to the rescue with their first tennis collection.

The range is designed in a muted tonal palette of lavender, apple and cream and even better is cut to fit not to cling, (and there’s not a shiny fabric in sight). The tennis collection consists of eight pieces ranging from cute dresses and skirts through to tennis tops and undershorts. Not only do these clothes look and feel gorgeous, they also perform to the max as they’re made using the latest high-performance sporting fabrics.

Tennis Dresses

Halterneck Tennis Dress – A sexy halterneck tennis dress with built-in bra (so the balls are the only thing bouncing on the court). Under the bust is contrasting empire line piping.

Ribbon-Tie Tennis Dress – A v-necked tennis dress, again with built-in bra. The deep ‘v’ is edged with contrasting piping with a cute tie at the base of the ‘v’.

Wrap Tennis Dress – A 1970s inspired wrap tennis dress with contrasting piping.
The dresses are made in jersey Meryl fabric, a high-performance sporting fabric which is completely breathable. Available in apple, cream and lavender. (We’ve been told that the dresses are also being bought by non-tennis players to wear as beach cover ups).

Skirts – Available in lavender, apple and cream.

Pleated Tennis Skirt – A retro-styled tennis skirt, similar to the one you wore at school but this one is flattering!

Simple Tennis Skirt – A simple tennis skirt with contrasting piping at the hem.

Tennis Undershorts – Available in lavender, apple and cream

To co-ordinate with the dresses and skirts are cute under-shorts with two semi-circular reversed pockets with contrasting trim - perfect to store your tennis balls.

Tennis Tops – Available in lavender, apple and cream

V-neck Tennis Top – An elegant v-neck tennis top with contrasting trim.

Square Neck Tennis Top – A flattering square-necked tennis top with contrasting trim.

In addition there’s a range of divinely cut fleece tops which perfectly co-ordinate with the tennis range.

All the items are available in apple, cream, and lavender. The tennis collection is made using a jersey Meryl micro-fabric with 24% elastane. The micro-fibre is both quick dry and breathable and its high elastane content means it gives both support and stretch; it also keeps its shape and is creaseless.

The range is available in sizes 8-16 (UK sizes).
