Internet-Based Programme for Weight-Loss

Slimcoach (slimcoach.co.uk) is different because it helps clients lose weight, then keep it off. Slimcoach was developed by Health Coach (UK) Ltd directors Liz Sheppard-Jones and Adam Porter-Blake to use their combined experience to create a weight loss product that really works in the long term.
Against a background of rising concern over obesity and attempts to combat this increasingly serious health problem, they describe Slimcoach as a unique internet-based programme for weight loss and body transformation using life coaching techniques and personal fitness training.
Liz Sheppard-Jones and Adam Porter Blake believe Slimcoach creates lasting behaviour change by tackling the thinking that leads to overweight. It coaches clients in what it calls the Psychology of Success. As examples : clients are helped to connect with their personal True Willpower, to be guided by their Inner Gourmet in making food choices, and to follow the Tao of Hunger, a practical, supportive tool for difficult eating moments. Slimcoach offers a package of weight loss coaching, personal training, fast fat burning techniques, inspiration and insight to make the essential, lasting lifestyle changes clients need for great results.
The response to Slimcoach so far has been remarkable. Pre-launch clients describe it as 'amazing and inspiring' 'very positive', 'tapped into the psychology of weight-loss', 'long overdue' and 'helpful and instructive'.
"Slimcoach will no doubt be a welcome introduction to the world of diet and fitness as an excellent tool for successful, sustainable and life-changing weight loss." Sam Mann, journalist and Capital Radio DJ
Liz Sheppard-Jones, director of Health Coach (UK) Ltd and Weight Loss Coach, says that Slimcoach uses three guiding principles: "If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you; if it doesn't feel good, it isn't going to happen, and if you don't own it, you won't keep it". She describes the flaws in other weight-loss products as failure to create this real ownership, and inability to make caring for our bodies the rewarding, positive experience it can be.
