Slim into your LBD for Christmas With the credit crunch in full swing, recycling last year’s little black dress is a must this party season! However, after a year of snacking this may be a bit of a squeeze. Here to help you slip back into that LBD is straight-talking lifestyle guru and author, Steve Miller, with his tips on how to motivate yourself to slim down in time for the festive season.

- Sit down and tell yourself you will not look as though you are bulging out of your dress at this year’s Christmas Party. Now is the time to start working on losing that muffin top in time to slip into your LBD.

- Plan to do a brisk walk for one hour a day, building it into your daily routine. Make sure you sweat buckets as it’s a great way to get rid of those toxins from your body and burn off excess that fat.

- Hang the dress on the wardrobe so that you see it every day. Let this be a reminder of your goal and tell yourself you are one step closer to sliding into the dress with ease.

- If you find yourself tempted to snack, mentally tell yourself to get focused, maintain a winners mind and picture yourself in the dress at that party!

- Reward yourself well. As the pounds melt treat yourself to a fragrance, a bunch of flowers or maybe a nice new clutch bag to further accessorize the dress.

- Finally, embed in your mind that you are completely in control and daily remind yourself that losing is not on the agenda. You are a true winner.
