Diet company cracks the code for tomato soup

23rd April 2009 Print
A food company is claiming it has finally found the winning formula for the comfort food favourite that offers more taste and less waist - tomato soup. For years food technologists in the weight-loss industry have grappled with the problem of creating a low calorie tomato soup that actually tastes of tomato.

“Tomato has always been a notoriously difficult flavour to reproduce,” says Jackie Delahunty, co-founder of ExanteDiet.com. “Our team has now managed to produce a soup that not only tastes great but will really help you with your diet.

“Dieting can be hard enough without being constantly bombarded with bland or boring food.”

The exact recipe for the super soup is a closely guarded secret and is kept under lock and key at the company’s London headquarters in Covent Garden.

“All our recipes are totally unique and designed to meet client demand,” says Delahunty. “And three packs a day give you 100 per cent of your recommended daily nutritional requirements.”

“We think that our tomato soup will join the greats of broth.”

Exante Diet have led the way by developing soups, shakes and bars that are suitable for vegetarians and contain no harmful additions such as Aspartame, Trans Fats, Artificial Colours, Preservatives, MSG, Gluten or GM products.

The Exante Diet Variety Pack is the best value, best tasting weekly supply of meal replacements on the market at £36.75.
