New diet concept rebels against tradition

6th August 2009 Print
New diet concept rebels against tradition The diet industry is bigger than ever yet the nation is at its fattest. This has inspired sports, fitness and eating and body image therapist, Emma James to create her own “Rebel Diet”.

It’s a simple system based on; how your body works, your own metabolic rate, your bodies reaction to dieting and shifting stubborn areas of body fat without getting brainwashed by the diet industry. It’s called Rebel Diet as it allows you one day a week of rebelling against the diet and allowing yourself to eat what you want.

Emma explains, “Dieting can be very simple, and the key to it is knowing what will work for you as an individual. You need to understand your own system and learn how to tweak it to lose weight.” Emma is holding a Rebel Diet seminar on 31st October in Manchester to help educate people on her plan and help attendees learn how to achieve their desired body shape.

Rebel Diet claims to be different to other diets because it helps you to find out how your own body works and then enables to regulate your weight yourself. It is against buying into diet treatments and products and allows you to have a cheat day once a week and begin to relax about your body fat levels as they change to what you want them to be.

Emma explains why she wrote the book and is holding the seminar, “My approach worked for me, and helped so many of my sports performance and therapy clients achieve success. I’ve had my own battle with weight as I’m a World Champion Power Lifter and have to keep my weight within competing levels. Endless numbers of “gurus” couldn’t understand why I wasn’t losing body fat with the level of training and diet I had just pushed me into finding my own answers which then proved to be the same answers thousands of others were looking for.”

Those wishing to book a place on the Rebel Diet seminar can book their place via rebeldiet.co.uk.

Emma James is a sports, social anxiety and body image therapist. She also helps people overcome and deal with weight and eating related issues. Her therapy practice is based in Manchester.

Representing Great Britain Emma was won 2 World Titles, 13 European and 17 British titles in power lifting. She still competes today and is the current world record holder for bench presses in her weight category.
