House hunters head to historic Bletchley

House hunters descended on the historic town of Bletchley for the launch of award-winning house builder Redrow’s latest venture in the area. A steady flow of people passed through the marketing suite at Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes, when the new development was opened to the public.

Mary Timlin, Sales Director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “The launch was very successful, and many people took the opportunity to pop down and reserve a home at the hottest new address in the area.

“The Marketing Suite was quite busy and we had a steady flow of people passing through all day, selling 20 per cent of our first release.”

There is something for everyone at Bletchley Park, which will comprise 136 new homes, featuring primarily one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments plus some three-bedroom townhouses

Investors and locals will find plenty to please and the development’s convenient position on Sherwood Drive, opposite Bletchley train station, makes it the ideal location for commuters heading for London or Milton Keynes.

The apartments are designed in two rectangular buildings, each around a central landscaped courtyard.

The first release features two-bedroom apartments with en-suite to the master bedroom, an open plan living area and a single parking space. Later releases will see three-bedroom duplex apartments and two-bedroom penthouses up for grabs. Initial prices are from £183,995.

The area is best known for Bletchley Park, the headquarters of Britain’s World War II code breaking organisation, which cracked the “supposedly unbreakable” Enigma code and is now a museum.

The picturesque town is also home to the Blue Lagoon Nature reserve and local amenities include the newly refurbished Brunel Shopping Centre and the High Street shops. A golf course and leisure centre are on hand for entertainment, while just down the road, Milton Keynes provides a variety of shops, restaurants and entertainments venues.

The new Marketing Suite at Bletchley Park is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm and contains a scale model of the development, plans, illustrations and examples of the kitchen and bathroom finishes plus other choices and options as part of the ‘Indulge with Redrow’ specification.
