Get into the Christmas spirit with Linden Homes Thames Valley

23rd November 2007 Print
With less than 40 shopping days until Christmas to go, you’d be wise to get your present buying in early and where better to start than at the late night shopping event in Marlow on Thursday 6th December.

Whilst having a wander around the shops, why not enjoy the festive celebrations that award-winning homebuilder Linden Homes has organised in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Linden’s head office is located just off the high street and will be turned into a winter wonderland with the help of a snow machine, goody bags for children, face painters and balloons, while mulled wine and mince pies will also be served. The finale of the night will be a raffle to be drawn at 8pm, where visitors will be asked to guess the square footage of the Show Home at Linden’s Wyatt Place development in Stoke Poges and choose from three multiple choice answers. The winner will receive a luxury hamper packed with a host of goodies, while a second and third prize hamper will also be up for grabs.

If after all that shopping and festivity you need to relax, Linden has also enlisted the help of professional masseurs, who will be based inside the head office helping you to unwind. All of the activities are sponsored by Linden Homes Thames Valley with suggested donations to the Make a Wish Foundation children’s charity who provide wishes to children with serious and life threatening illnesses and the housebuilder hopes visitors will dig deep at this giving time of year.

Zoe Dobbs, Sales & Marketing Director for Linden Homes Thames valley comments: “As Christmas gets closer we start thinking about what presents we are going to buy for our loved ones but thinking of others is just as important. We are delighted to be raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation and hope that through our late night shopping festivities we put a smile on the faces of families who come to Marlow, as well as on the children who are supported through the charity.”

The event will take place on Thursday 6th December between 6pm-8.30pm, and is certain to be a great night, so families should definitely pay a visit to Marlow High Street and Linden Homes.
