Go ahead for second Milton Keynes venture

Award winning house builder Redrow is to launch a second development in the Milton Keynes area, this time at Broughton Manor, one of the town’s flourishing new residential districts.

The 88 properties will enjoy easy access to junctions 13 and 14 of the M1 motorway for commuters and, at the same time, are well positioned to take advantage of local amenities and everything that Milton Keynes has to offer.

Redrow’s multi-million pound scheme, off Newport Road, in Broughton, has been given detailed planning permission and will feature a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom houses, offering something for people at just about every stage of the property ladder.

It will also include an element of affordable housing, including homes available on a rented and shared ownership basis, to ensure a diverse and socially inclusive community.

The 6.5 acre site was acquired from Gallagher Estates. Preparatory work has begun for Redrow’s development and the first homes are due to be sold off-plan at the start of the New Year. The first of the new homes should be ready to move into by mid 2008.

When finished Bletchley Park will comprise 136 new homes, featuring primarily one, two and three-bedroom apartments, plus some three-bedroom townhouses.
