A shopping winter wonderland in Marlow

Award-wining homebuilder Linden Homes Thames Valley, helped everyone get into the swing of things, by creating a winter wonderland outside it’s head office at The Old Brewery Courtyard.
Linden’s festive courtyard provided the perfect place for everyone to unwind at the end of the working day, or take a break during their Christmas shopping. Visitors could relax and enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and live music. Furthermore, there was something for the whole family, with a snow machine, children’s goody bags, face painters and a raffle, drawn by the Mayor, in aid of Linden Homes designated charity, the Make a Wish Foundation.
Zoe Dobbs, Sales & Marketing Director for Linden Homes Thames Valley comments: “Everyone, both young and old enjoyed our Christmas entertainments. I would like to thank everyone for the generosity and helping to support the Make a Wish Foundation, which provides wishes to children with serious and life threatening illnesses.”
The raffle, which asked visitors to guess the square footage of the Show Home at Linden’s Wyatt Place development in Stoke Poges, from three multiple choice answers was drawn by Richard Scott, Mayor of Marlow and Tim Bovey, President of Marlow Chamber of Commerce. The winner, Bob Davis was presented with a large luxury picnic hamper, complete with dinning utensils and delectable treats, while the second and third place went to Tim Dexte and John Wealthall, who also received festive hampers.
