Precious stone at Priory Park
An exclusive row of character stone built homes at Barratt Northampton’s Priory Park in Milton Keynes is taking shape. And the housebuilder has released an image to show buyers just how impressive they look. The development comprises of 82, two bedroom apartments, and three, four and five bedroom homes, at Oxley Park off H6 Childs Way.
And just 12 properties have been chosen to be built in an unmistakable stone from Northamptonshire - Banbury Brown Sawn Cropped & Tumbled.
The select four and five bedroom styles, located on the edge of the development, have uninterruptible and stunning countryside views. And the stone was chosen to complement this rare vista.
Barbara Ashby, sales negotiator, said: “We’ve had an incredible amount of interest in these homes.
“To be built with this beautiful material not only offers buyers a true ‘wow’ factor feeling, but to enjoy a vast outlook of fields and trees is particularly rare – and that’s why they’re so sought after.”
The stone has the orange/brown colour, typical of Northamptonshire, offering a warmth and character to the façade.
Each house type will use approximately 250 square metres of stone, in four different sizes. It will be expertly laid by experienced bricklayers, specialists in handling stone.
Two stone built homes are currently on release. The four bedroom Harrowdale is priced at £482,400. The five bedroom Marlowe style costs £537,500.
Priory Park is near to a forest, and has convenient access into Milton Keynes centre, which has a direct train link to London Euston. There are also good links to the M1 and A5.
The development is open daily, 11.00am to 6.00pm. For more information, log on to Barratthomes.co.uk.
