Glimpse into park life

Glimpse into park life Barratt Northampton has released a picture of an impressive private park at Vizion in Milton Keynes - one of three unique facilities offered for the first time to residents in the city.

Larger than a football pitch, it is for the sole use of homeowners at the luxury development of 307, one, two and three bedroom apartments off Avebury Boulevard.

Work is progressing well on the park, and completion is planned for the end of 2008.

Accessed purely from the concierge area, currently exclusive to Vizion, the park is designed over one level - providing a striking first visual impact.

Residents can then take in a variety of landscaped areas, which suit their mood. Footpaths meander through trees, flowing water and colourful borders.

There are also open green rooms, defined spaces where seating allows residents to absorb the unique environment.

As well as bubbling fountains, the centrepiece is a water feature and an island that contains evergreen planting and seating. Access to this is over a low-level decked bridge, being close to the water, it offers a feeling of walking on water.

Remi Craddock, development sales manager, said: "This park is on a magnificent scale and has been carefully thought out to provide a high-quality and calming environment - befitting of Vizion."

The park will also include nesting and ladybird boxes to encourage wildlife, situated throughout.

Vizion brings this beautiful setting into the heart of many apartments. Uniquely, it provides a generous balcony with each home, with either a park or city view.

One, two and three bedroom apartments are currently available. Prices start at £195,000.

Vizion offers residents a wealth of amenities on their doorstep, including shops, bars, restaurants and leisure facilities. The train station has a direct link to London Euston, and the M1 motorway is also easily accessed.

The show apartments are open daily, 11.00am to 6.00pm. Visit barratthomes.co.uk for more information.
