First to move in at Cressex Close

With seven of the houses at Cressex Close in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire already spoken for, sales show no sign of slowing. The first people to complete on their new home at the development were sisters, Marie and Claire Heuser.

Like many other purchasers one of the major attractions to the development was the specification of the homes, including integrated appliances, built in wardrobes, chrome fixtures and fittings and luxury bathrooms, to name just a few things.

"Having rented for a while both myself and my sister decided to buy a home together and as we are first time buyers this was daunting. We had looked around many sites in the area but what sold it for us at Cressex Close was the superb finish to the homes and that we could afford a freehold house with a garden for the same price as a leasehold apartment", says Marie Heuser.

All of the houses, built by house builder Shanly Homes, will be energy efficient. Gardens will have a water butt and bird boxes, with households receiving membership to the RSPB. "We are both very pleased that we took the important step of getting onto the property ladder. Buying together allowed us to share the costs of moving making the whole process less stressful and worrying, says Marie Heuser.

"As well as the finish of the homes the location is fantastic too. We both have to travel to London regularly, so having a train service that takes only 40 minutes to Marylebone is great. John Lewis, a sports centre and other local amenities are conveniently close by and having the new shopping centre, Eden only minutes away is an added bonus".
