Three's the magic number in Aylesbury

Three's the magic number in Aylesbury If you're a small family looking to move up the property ladder to a three bedroom home, but think the current economic conditions mean you can't afford you're a new home, then visit one's of Aylesbury's most sought-after new developments, Persimmon Homes' Queens Place, where your dream home is waiting to be snapped up.

"We are finding that consumer cautiousness with reference to obtaining a mortgage has deterred several househunters from looking for a brand new property as they believe they can't afford to move," comments Karen Howard, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Thames Valley.

She continues: "We're listening to consumers and understand the constraints they're currently facing, which is why we've developed our ‘Bridge the Gap' initiative to enable purchasers to sell their own home whilst also finding a new home that suits both their personal requirements and their budget."

Persimmon understands that buying a property is a daunting enough experience, without even considering having to sell one too, which is why they're offering to assist with this all important process.

With ‘Bridge the Gap' Persimmon aims to help purchasers find and appoint three independent estate agents, advise on the valuations and what price to market their property at. The company then reserve the purchaser's chosen home for up to four weeks while their existing property is sold. What's more Persimmon will also pay the estate agent's and removal firm's fees too.

Karen adds: "In an uncertain housing market it's difficult to predict the resale value of a second hand property, which is why Bridge the Gap is on offer. If our purchaser's home sells for less than the asking price, this difference will be reflected in the price we attribute to the Persimmon house they're buying, taking the stress and financial worry out of purchasing one of our brand new homes."

Currently available at Persimmon's beautiful Queens Place development is a number of three bedroom homes in a range of five differing styles. Included in this selection is the company's Home of the Week - the Stuart design, which comes complete with entrance hallway, lounge with French doors to the rear garden, kitchen and large dining area, three sizeable bedrooms, an en suite shower room to the master bedroom and a family bathroom.

Prices at the development start from just £239,950 for the Stuart, house of the week, design. A select number of exclusive five bedroom homes are also on offer from £299,950.

Queen's Place is situated in Weedon Hill close to the A413 Buckingham Road and the regally named development will offer over 100 stylish new homes in a range of one to four bedroom designs. The development is excellently placed for commuters, Aylesbury lies within easy reach of the A41, providing routes north to Milton Keynes and Oxford and links to the M25. Aylesbury train station also offers direct trains into London Marylebone with a journey time of just over an hour.
