Borlase bucks the trend in Marlow

A report from the Department for Communities and Local Government, issued last week, indicates that the price of an average detached house rose by 4.9 per cent between December 2008 and January 2009, pushing up average prices by 0.2 per cent.
And savvy purchasers at Borlase Gardens have realised that prices have started to increase and have been making a commitment to buy at the site now, before prices continue to increase.
Tim Foreman, Sales Director for Antler Homes, says: “We have never been as busy at Borlase Gardens as we have been in 2009. In fact, in the last two months alone we have had reservations on no less than six of our properties. I think people have started to realise that now really is a great time to buy and this is another sign that confidence is slowly but surely returning to the new homes market.”
There are just six properties remaining at Borlase Gardens, two are penthouse apartments and the remainder offer four bedrooms and sit nicely in the ‘family home’ category. Borlase Gardens is an intimate development offering a wide selection of family homes and apartments around a beautiful village green setting.
Each of the homes at the development has been finished to the highest standard, with attention to detail paramount. Purchasers can expect to find luxury custom built kitchens with granite work tops, Siemens stainless steel appliances and integrated appliances fitted throughout. Bathrooms and en-suites include classic white sanitaryware with chrome fittings, contemporary fitted furniture and ceramic floor tiles. Other finishing touches include ash veneered internal doors, chrome door furniture, contemporary styles architrave and skirtings and houses have staircases with hardwood ash handrails ad newel posts.
The development is located on the outskirts of the charming riverside town of Marlow, and is perfectly placed for access to the M40 and M3. The town offers a wide selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants and also hosts an array of leisure facilities.
Prices at Borlase Gardens start at £344,950 for an apartment and £469,950 for a family home. For more information, visit Antlerhomes.co.uk.
