Homes that dreams are made of

Homes that dreams are made of Satinder and Tarvy Gosal couldn’t have planned their house move any better if they tried. They made a reservation from a set of plans and were able to make alterations throughout the build with the end result being a home they had always dreamed of owning.

The couple, who currently live in Iver with their three children, had been searching for their dream home in Beaconsfield for almost two years before they stumbled across signs for Antler Homes’ Brownswood place development.

“We popped in to the marketing suite and we were shown the plans,” explains Satinder. “Usually I like to be able to see what I buy before I buy it. But my husband has a much better eye for these things and, we decided to make a reservation off-plan and we also used Part Exchange to sell our existing home. It was great!”

Because The Gosals made a reservation off-plan they were able to bespoke their new home. They recently spent an afternoon at Domus Tiles in West Molesey, where they picked the tiles they wanted for the walls and floors in their bathrooms. They were also able to make other changes including picking the freestanding units for their bathroom, choosing the appliances they wanted in their kitchen and adding underfloor heating. Antler Homes even helped with the planning and converted the loft space in to two more bedrooms.

“We were able to bespoke our house to exactly how we wanted it as when we reserved only the foundations had been laid,” adds Satinder. “I would really recommend bespoking – it gave us the chance to get our dream home, and Antler Homes really helped us every step of the way. Absolutely everything is how we want it. We have found ourselves a dream home that we want to be in for life, and we can’t wait to move in later this year.”

Satinder and Tarvy purchased Charnleigh House – one of three detached homes at Brownswood Place. Their property is a six bedroom family home with detached double garage. Still remaining at the development is Albany House, a five bedroom family home which is due to be released for sale in autumn.

They were attracted to the market town on Beaconsfield as it has an excellent selection of schools and a wide variety of local amenities within walking distance. Transport connections are also excellent in Beaconsfield, with the M40 and the M25 both easily accessible and London just 30 miles away.
