Redrow opens the doors to new homes in Milton Keynes To celebrate the conclusion of New Homes Week, Redrow is hosting an ‘open doors’ weekend in Milton Keynes to show homebuyers the ins and outs of its superb quality homes.

Visitors to the two-day event at Broughton Manor on Saturday and Sunday, September 19 / 20 can step inside a number of different homes and then relax with a glass of wine while they chat to Redrow’s friendly and experienced sales team about the wide range of incentives that are available to purchasers, such as part exchange.

New Homes Week is a New Homes Marketing Board initiative, highlighting all the benefits that come with owning a brand new property, such as energy efficiency, no expensive renovation costs, easy maintenance and enhanced security. Redrow has taken the theme a step further and calculated that the cost of bringing an older second hand property up to the same standard as a new Redrow home could be as much as £30,000*, not to mention the huge outlay of time and energy involved.

By contrast, in the homes at Broughton Manor, in Milton Keynes, everything has already been done to a very high standard, with an up to date specification and highly polished finish that is easy to maintain and keep clean. A new home also carries the added reassurance of a two-year guarantee for any fitted appliances and the National Home-Building Council (NHBC) 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty.

In addition, previous research has shown that a brand new home is up to 40% more efficient than one built at the beginning of the decade, which should also mean lower fuel bills.

Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow Homes, said: “This weekend will be an opportunity for people thinking about buying a new home to see the first class properties we have available at Broughton Manor. It gives them the opportunity to step inside a number of different designs, including a fully furnished show home, and get a real flavour of what it would be like to live there.

“There are so many overriding benefits to owning a brand new home compared to a second hand property and this event gives potential purchasers the opportunity to see that for themselves instead of just taking our word for it.”

Redrow @ Broughton Manor is ideally situated on the edge of the village of Broughton, just a few minutes drive from Milton Keynes itself.

Broughton Fields primary and Oakgrove secondary schools are close by and the village also boasts great commuter links, with easy access to the M1. Milton Keynes train station has direct services to London Euston in around 40 minutes.

Four-bedroom homes are currently available from £239,995 and five-bedroom properties are priced from £389,950.

Redrow is also offering a number of helpful incentives, ranging from part-exchange for those with an existing property to sell, to help with deposits; all helping to make the move to a dream home at Broughton Manor even easier.

Part-exchange enables buyers to move quickly and easily without the worry of being stuck in a housing chain. Subject to criteria, Redrow effectively act as a cash buyer for a customer’s existing property enabling them to ‘swap’ new for old.
