New Aura solves house-hunting headaches

CGI of a Mira building on the Aura development, Isleworth Isleworth, former home to great artists Turner and Van Gogh, could now be your home too thanks to the new Aura development by award-winning housebuilder Bellway North London.

The 174 new homes in Isleworth, Middlesex is selling like hot cakes. Since its launch two weeks ago the first properties offered for sale have been snapped up and only 7 remain on the second group to be released.

It’s no wonder that they’re selling quickly. Aura, on London Road, will offer contemporary apartment living with excellent commuter links to central London. One bedroom apartments begin at £224,995 and two-bedroom apartments begin at £289,495.

One and a half acres of the site, set on former commercial land, will be a dedicated public open space including two play areas for children.

The development comes with a package of enhancements for the local community in addition to the children’s play areas. These include over £180,000 contributed to local education services, funding for the nearby Thornbury Playing Fields and contributions to local transport.

Ian Sloan, Sales Director of Bellway North London, says: “We are very excited to be launching this scheme which will provide homes that are contemporary, spacious and excellent value for money. Nearby Isleworth station offers excellent links to Waterloo station within 35 minutes and the site is convenient for the A4 and M4.”

Isleworth's facilities include a public library, swimming pool, gym, and an abundance of green spaces including Osterley and Syon Parks. The town was home to Francis Pear’s famous soap making empire for a century from 1862.

Isleworth also has a strong artistic heritage: Joseph Mallord William Turner moved there in 1804 and drew inspiration from the picturesque banks of the Thames. Vincent Van Gogh moved to Isleworth in 1876 to become a teacher and assistant preacher at a local school.

Construction at Aura began in January 2007 and the site currently has a sales centre which is open five days a week 10- 5. For further information, visit bellway.co.uk.
