Townends high achiever takes delivery of dream car!

After an impatient wait, Chad Newbould, Senior Branch Manager of Townends in Sunbury finally took delivery of his brand new company Porsche Boxster convertible last week.

Chad was awarded the car at the Badger Holdings annual sales conference and awards ceremony in January in recognition of his outstanding performance during 2006.

Badger Holdings Managing Director, Séamus Kavanagh was on hand to give Chad the keys and said: “We run a number of programmes to reward our high achievers throughout the year including overseas trips, nights out and financial bonuses. However the Board felt that we needed to put something special in place to reward Chad’s outstanding contribution. We hope that seeing Chad driving around in his new company Porsche will act as a real motivator for our other managers wanting to follow in his footsteps – or should that be tyre-tracks!.”

Speaking after a couple of days spent enjoying the car, Chad said: “I’m over the moon – the car is wonderful to drive and I’m having a lot of fun with it. It is a great feeling to have all of my hard work acknowledged by the Board in such a public way. Not many companies are as good at recognising the contributions of their staff as Townends and I believe this is definitely one of the key reasons for our continued growth and success.”
