Entire complex of 1970’s Teddington riverside apartments sold After considerable interest, a key site close to the river in Teddington has been sold. The 2 acre site was acquired by Quad, the Richmond based architecture and development group, and currently has planning consent for over 50 units ranging from studios to 3 bedroom duplex apartments. Work is expected to commence on site at the end of July 2007 with completion in the fourth quarter of 2008. Savills will be handling the unit sales.

Quad will totally remodel and refurbish the 1970’s blocks, radically changing their external appearance, internal layouts and finishes. Advised by Savills, the freehold site was acquired for £15.5m.

This significant acquisition follows hot on the heels of Quad’s recent £42.5 million forward sale of their Ink Building project in Barlby Road W10 – fast establishing them as one of the most active niche developers in West London. Savills also arranged the acquisition and sale of this development.
