Parkwest official opening The Worshipful The Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Catherine Dann has officially opened Parkwest, the latest development by St George, which is located in West Drayton, just 2 miles north of Heathrow and 1 mile from Stockley Park.

In just under 12 months since the development first launched, all apartments in Arlington and Burlington House have been sold off plan, Lexington House is over 80% sold and the latest phase, Kensington House is performing equally well. When the development is complete, Parkwest will offer 574 new homes, 203 of which will be affordable and for the local community. The new homes enjoy a stylish and contemporary specification and benefit from a 24 hour concierge service residents’ health and fitness suite, and a community room.

St George has also set up some innovative and important travel schemes at Parkwest, which will help to improve traffic flow in and around the local area. A travel coordinator has been employed to manage and provide the residents at Parkwest with essential travel information for the local area, this can include bus routes, train times and even areas of local interest.

In order to encourage the use of green travel at Parkwest both a cycle club and car club have been established. St George has teamed up with City Car Club to provide two Honda Civic Hybrid Cars for use as part of the Parkwest Car Club. Membership is free and bookings can be made on line or over the phone. These cars include insurance, tax, servicing, MOT and valeting, will make a positive contribution to the environment.
