Wembley redevelopment to benefit new homes

7th January 2008 Print
Wembley redevelopment to benefit new homes Barratt West London recently launched Crown Green Mews, a development of 13 four-bedroom townhouses in the grounds of a bowling club in North Wembley. The existing clubhouse belonging to Century Bowling Club will be partly demolished and a new bowling green and extension to the club house will be built.

Situated in Logan Road, off Preston Road in Wembley, Crown Green Mews is conveniently situated with local shops, restaurants, schools and a doctor’s surgery being within easy walking distance. The redevelopment of Wembley Stadium has been the catalyst for a resurgence in the area with significant investment being made in new housing, retail and leisure and other community amenities. Improvements are also being made to both the road network and railway stations.

Bakerloo, Jubilee and Metropolitan line tube stations are all within walking distance. Preston Road tube station on the Metropolitan Line is only 0.4 miles while South Kenton (Bakerloo line) is only 0.6 miles. Mainline stations nearby offer a 30 minute service into London Euston. The M1, M4 and M25 are all easily accessible.

The new homes at Crown Green mews are due for completion in June 2008, but can be bought off-plan. Prices are expected to start at £450,000.
