Capitalise on your equity

15th January 2008 Print
Capitalise on your equity Downsizing is the most popular way of freeing equity from your home. By trading down and investing in a less expensive property, you are able to capitalise on your original investment.

Designed and built to the high standard for which Bellway is renowned, Hillingdon Gardens offers contemporary living spaces right at the heart of the thriving community of Hillingdon – and homes there are just perfect for down-sizers. Apartments are set in a gated development, with landscaped communal gardens, secure parking and video phone entry system.

Hillingdon Gardens apartments are spacious, varying in size from 550sq.ft up to a whopping 1400sq.ft. for a three bedroom home. Each apartment has gas fired central heating and communal hallways also have heating. Kitchens come with integrated Bosch oven, hob and hood; a dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Master bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and two and three bedroom apartments have en-suite facilities as well as an additional bathroom. All bathrooms have ceramic wall and floor tiles and a heated towel rail.

Ian Sloan, Sales Director of Bellway North London, said: “As we grow older we have less need for the big house to which we once aspired. Buying at Hillingdon Gardens is a great opportunity for home owners to realise their biggest asset, their current home and make the most of it.”

He continued: “By downsizing, you’ll be saving money in other ways too; for example, if you are moving from an old property to a newly-built home, your utility bills are likely to reduce quite significantly, and you are likely to cut your council tax bill too. “

Hillingdon Gardens on Hercies Road is an exclusive development of just 21 apartments situated in an attractive, established residential area just 14 miles from London.

The scheme launched with a sales and marketing suite and will offer for sale one-, two- and three- bedroom apartments starting from £245,000. First occupations are expected in early Spring 2008.

A gateway to both the town and the country, Hillingdon is just 14 miles from central London. The borough has 800 acres of woodland, country parks, fields and farms. Several rivers run through the area as well as the Grand Union Canal. The area is awash with heritage from pubs with links to the civil war to medieval churches. Hillingdon successfully blends its history with modern living; from theatres and a lido to the vibrant shopping destination of Uxbridge.

The sales and marketing suite and show apartment are open Thursdays- Mondays 10.30am – 4.30pm. Alternatively visit Bellway.co.uk.
