Just 5 homes left at Barratt’s Byron Place in Wembley Just five homes remain for sale at Barratt North London’s popular Byron Place development in Lancelot Road, Wembley. The majority of the 72 stylish one and two-bedroom apartments have been snapped up by people making this great location their permanent home. Anyone hoping to buy here will need to move fast, or miss out.

Accountant Alka Patel will be leaving her current four-bedroom home in Greenford in favour of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at the development.

Alka says: “Wembley is going to be an increasingly desirable place to live, with the huge regeneration around the National Stadium a welcome bonus. The convenience of the location also really attracted me. My parents are a five-minute drive from Byron Place and the centre of London is only around 30 minutes away by tube, which is ideal for me as I travel to Green Park every day.”

The local High Street has a good range of shops and there’s a Sainsbury’s supermarket around two miles from the development. Brent Cross, which is about to undergo a massive expansion, has a wide choice of stores and is only five miles away; Ikea is just along the North Circular.

When it’s time to relax, there are plenty of local parks, Harrow’s Vue cinema has the latest films, while the Wembley Arena hosts some of the world’s biggest acts. There’s also a choice of good gyms in the area.

Set around a landscaped green, the apartments have a high specification, including contemporary kitchens with a range of integrated appliances, bright open-plan living areas, bathrooms with white sanitaryware and chrome taps plus an en suite shower room in the two-bedroom apartments. Many designs have balconies and terraces and a lift serves all the floors. Private parking is also available on selected apartments. The scheme is set around a landscaped green.

Alka adds: “I felt very comfortable buying a new home, knowing I couldn’t be gazumped and there wouldn’t be any complications or worries. It only took 28 days to exchange and I am due to move in around March.”
