George Wimpey will match your deposit at Waterside Park Leading housebuilder George Wimpey is offering customers the perfect opportunity to take an easy step up the property ladder - by matching their deposit of up to 5% of the purchase price.

The money-saving scheme is available at the leading housebuilder's Waterside Park development, in West Drayton, Middlesex, where prices for two-bedroom apartments with allocated parking start at £194,995.

The deposit match scheme gives a helping hand to anyone struggling to secure a mortgage, and can help parents who are trying to support their children as they fly the nest to buy their first home.

Tim Betts, George Wimpey's Regional Sales and Marketing Director, said: "Many mortgage lenders now require higher deposits than they have in previous years, so we are giving our customers the chance to make that initial investment in their new home now, so that they don't have to save up for months, or even years.

"If they can put down a deposit of up to 5% of the purchase price, we'll match the amount, saving them thousands of pounds now and over the lifetime of their mortgage. Customers simply pay the amount back interest free in ten years time."

The two-bedroom Kingfisher Wharf apartments feature a modern living space comprising an open-plan kitchen and a living/dining room with selected plots benefiting from French doors to a balcony, a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a second bedroom and main bathroom.
