Once completed, the stylish new community will offer a total of 100 properties arranged in a peaceful cul-de-sac design with an adjacent area of public open space plus childrens’ play area for residents’ benefit.

“Abbey Heights is the first time Persimmon has created a development in Malmesbury since we relocated our offices here in 2005 and we are delighted to be bringing this exciting new scheme to what we know is a thriving and very active community,” commented Catherine Marshall, field sales manager for Persimmon Homes Wessex. “The range of properties here has been specifically designed to mirror Malmesbury’s existing cosmopolitan community, with homes selected to appeal to purchasers from first time buyers, to families and retirees.

“Interest in this development is very high and with a show home due to open in early March I would urge house hunters to visit Abbey Heights now, in order to take advantage of pre-show home prices.”

Prices at Abbey Heights currently start from £169,995 for a stylish one bedroom Farrington coach house rising to £282,995 for a four bedroom, three storey, Cheltenham town house.

Alongside pre-show home prices, purchasers at Abbey Heights can also take advantage of Home Exchange which provides the opportunity to part exchange their existing property with Persimmon, to ensure a smooth move. Other purchaser schemes including First Step for first time buyers and Fee Saver for those looking to minimise the cost of moving home are also available. All offers are plot specific and subject to Persimmon Homes’ terms and conditions.

Abbey Heights is situated close to the heart of Malmesbury, and takes its name from the 7th century Benedictine Abbey which overlooks the town and is symbolic of its wealthy past. Today, Malmesbury offers a thriving town centre bustling with shops, restaurants and pubs alongside excellent schools and sporting opportunities.

Surrounded by picturesque countryside and nestled alongside the river Avon, residents at Abbey Heights can enjoy the best of town and country living with the nearby Cotswold market towns of Tetbury and Cirencester offering further leisure, shopping and relaxation opportunities. The development is also well placed for commuters with being situated just off the A429 and five miles from Junction 17 of the M4.

Prices at Abbey Heights currently start from £169,995 for a one bedroom coach house.
