That fact was confirmed in a survey conducted by housebuilder Redrow via its website when more than half of respondents said that a fully furnished show home was still the most important marketing tool when selecting a new home.

Chippenham home buyers who want to experience apartment first-hand need look no further as Redrow is set to open the doors to the fabulous new show apartment at the popular Fenway Park development this weekend (17th/18th March).

Designed by Redrow’s chosen interior design company, Connections in Design, the striking two-bedroom Avon apartment has been dressed to help fuel the imaginations of those on the hunt for the perfect property.

Lorraine Kendrick, sales director for Redrow Homes (South West), says: “Computer generated images, fly-throughs and other high-tech marketing devices are all well and good but, for many people, you can’t beat the touchy, feely experience of a show home. The new Avon show apartment at Fenway Park will give visitors a feel for the property and allow them to visualise life at Fenway Park.

“With the Avon we wanted to appeal to buyers with a variety of lifestyles, from young professional couples who want to relax in their home after a hard day at work to downsizers who would take pleasure in their home. With this in mind, a palette of black, gold and cream has been used to create a sumptuous, yet simple living space.”

The lounge features black sofas and wooden slat blinds to give a contemporary feel, while the glass and chrome dining table provides the perfect touch for entertaining guests.

Lorraine adds: “White and gold are the main colours used in the master bedroom, while the second room is gold and black. Both rooms have white bed linen to emphasise light and space.”

The two-bedroom Avon features a spacious open plan lounge and kitchen and the master bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom. Prices for an Avon similar to the show apartment at Fenway Park start from £146,000.

Fenway Park will eventually comprise 136 homes, offering something for everyone from families to young professionals, empty nesters and investors.

The development also features the one-bedroom Aire, which is priced at £125,000. As well as the range of apartments available, a selection of three and four-bedroom homes are available, including the three-bedroom Malham house type, priced from £220,000 and the four-bedroom detached Lea which comes with an en-suite bathroom and separate dining area, priced from £240,000, as well as the four-bedroom Teign, which comes with a £260,000 price tag.

Situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Chippenham, Fenway Park is only a short drive from the town centre. Chippenham is conveniently situated close to the M4 motorway enabling residents to commute to Bristol, Swindon or London.

The town also boasts a number of supermarkets, various restaurants, take-aways and public houses. Additionally, there is a library, doctors and a number of dentists’ surgeries and the usual complement of banks and building societies available.

For the chance to join Redrow for the launch of the fabulous new show home, visit Fenway Park on Bristol Road this weekend (17th/18th March). Alternatively log on to redrow.co.uk.
