Mobility on the move

20th March 2007 Print
Mobility on the move A family business that helps make life easier for people with mobility difficulties has moved from the White Horse Business Park in Trowbridge to new premises on the market through Dreweatt Neate in Shails Lane.

Care Plus Mobility took over the Mobility Aids Centre which ceased trading six years ago. The company supplies a wide range of products from small aids to assist with bottle opening to larger products such as scooters, manual and power wheelchairs, riser recliner chairs, electric beds, stairlifts and bathroom aids.

Care Plus Mobility has taken the premises that were previously occupied by Peppercorn Pine opposite Broad Street car park.

Tim Edwards, of Trowbridge commercial property agents Dreweatt Neate who let the shop, said: “Care Plus Mobility approached us when they were looking for more suitable premises. We knew they needed something more visible to the public than their previous location and a larger showroom.”

The firm has other showrooms in Frome, Paulton, near Bath and Fishponds, Bristol.
