A bedroom at Saxon Court Demand for apartments is on the increase and latest figures from the NHBC (National House Building Council) reveal that they made up almost half of all new homes started in the first quarter of this year.

Barratt Homes is one of the key players in providing one and two bedroom apartments for this rising demand and at Saxon Court in Chippenham it is offering a range of apartments where demand is being fuelled by first time buyers and those living alone or with friends.

This trend has seen a shift away from traditional semi-detached and detached homes towards a greater number of apartments and traditional terraced housing schemes.

News of increased demand for apartments coincides with the launch of a new one bedroom show apartment at Saxon Court where prices from £145,500 are attracting attention from a wide range of buyers.

“The apartments we have already built at Saxon Court have been extremely popular with buyers and we are delighted to have this new show apartment for potential purchasers,’’ said sales director Louise Ware.

“We are seeing first time buyers and those living alone turning to apartments as a modern way of living in stylish surroundings,’’ said Louise.

“Buyers love the designs we have created and for those with a busy lifestyle an apartment is perfect with no need for gardening, an added security thanks to entry door systems and a real sense of community.’’

Saxon Court is in the heart of historic Chippenham which offers an excellent range of shopping and leisure facilities, with convenient access to the M4 motorway just four miles away.

Bath, Bristol and Swindon are within easy reach and London Paddington is less than 80 minutes away via the mainline station.

Prices for apartments range from £145,500. For further details contact the sales office and showhome, which is open seven days a week from 11am until 6pm, or log onto Barratthomes.co.uk.
