It’s a perfect layout, as I can cook the dinner or get on with my household jobs and still keep an eye on the children playing. I have also converted the dining room into a playroom so the kids have their very own area in which to do what they like and I can shut the door on all of their toys at the end of the day.

“In addition we’ve also got a separate lounge on the first floor which is ideal for a bit of ‘me’ time or having friends over. I can then relax with a bit of peace and quiet while the children entertain themselves in the playroom. The master bedroom is also located on the first floor providing me with my own little floor of sanctuary. The little details in this clever design really help to make a big difference in creating a harmonious household! ”
