Barratt scores with Salisbury rugby team

Tim Hill, finance director at Barratt Southampton, grew up in Salisbury and attended the club from the age of five and has refereed in the tournament. Tim’s brother, international rugby player Richard Hill, played for the victorious England squad in the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup.
The club is a focal point for the children and young people of Salisbury, as well as the surrounding district, and the Under 9, 11 and 12 teams played in the October Mini Rugby Festival.
Barratt’s soon-to-launch development Bishops Gait, located off Queen Alexandra Road, Salisbury and the homebuilder is keen to form close links with the community.
Tim said: “Barratt sponsored the Salisbury Under 9 and 11s teams, who competed against squads from Bournemouth, Corsham, North Dorset, Wimborne, Sherborne, Chippenham, New Milton and Basingstoke in the tournament. There was a high standard of Rugby played and we’re delighted that the Salisbury Under 9s team won.
“By sponsoring the Festival we are not only gaining exposure for Barratt, but also pledging our support to an organisation which we know is right at the heart of the community – and also close to my heart.”
Bishops Gait @ QA is set to be a collection of three, four and five bedroom houses in this historic Cathedral city and potential buyers can register their interest now.
The development of 31 homes has been designed to appeal to families, professionals and those looking to upgrade an existing property to a brand new Barratt home.
Just a few minutes from the city centre, the development is located in a popular residential area, close to good schools including primary and secondary education, as well as Salisbury College.
