Waterside living in tranquil Wiltshire A naturally beautiful location encircled by the River Avon is the stunning setting for a stylish range of new homes and apartments in North Wiltshire. Contemporary one and two-bedroom apartments and spacious four-bedroom townhouses are now on sale at Redrow's Cowbridge Mill development, in Malmesbury, offering brand new homes amidst striking countryside.

Denise Turner, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South West), said: "Home buyers will be charmed by the tranquillity of the location alongside the river and water meadows and surrounded by green countryside. We have had a successful sales rate of late, selling 11 apartments in just six weeks due to the affordability of our prices and the high quality of the homes.

"Purchasers will not only be investing in a high specification property, but also a fabulous lifestyle. Picturesque Malmesbury may be one of England's oldest towns but it provides all the necessities for modern life close by from high street shops and banks, to school, doctors and dentists. There's also easy motorway access bringing the surrounding towns and cities of Bath, Cirencester, Bristol, Swindon, Reading and even London within easy reach.

"A protected mature tree belt within the site is being retained, creating an attractive backdrop, and proposed refurbishment of the mill building into a restaurant will be an added attraction for our customers."

Among the homes available are the spacious one and two-bedroom Warwick apartments with modern open plan kitchen, living and dining area; while the ‘Sherbourne' four-bedroom townhouse has a flexible layout, with a dining room, cloakroom, kitchen and living area on the ground floor, master bedroom with en-suite, and a lounge on the first floor, and three additional bedrooms and a family bathroom on the top floor.

The development will eventually comprise of 143 new homes and live-work units built on land originally occupied by the grand Cowbridge House and a mill, which dates back to the 1700s.

The diverse property mix will include apartments, semi-detached and detached houses, terraced homes and three-storey town houses, offering everything from one to five bedrooms.

Malmesbury itself is an ancient market town with a wealth of 17th and 18th century buildings, many of which now accommodate a host of welcoming pubs and shops, and is famous for its seventh century abbey and gardens.

The ‘Sherbourne' townhouses are available from £345,995. Apartments are priced from £99,995. Potential purchasers also have the added incentive of a 100% part-exchange option on selected homes, which means Redrow will effectively act as a cash buyer for customer's existing property paving the way for a smooth move to a new home.
