The Bargylia project is a gated village community consisting of 196 properties and is located on the Aegean coast The demand for property overseas has increased year upon year and there are now more than half a million Britons living abroad. The number of British people owning a property in Turkey has reached almost 15,000.

Amongst shrewd investors who have made excellent returns in this market are second homebuyers looking for a lower cost of living and better lifestyles. To appeal to those in search of a quieter style of living, Regnum, the face of quality Turkish property, has launched Bargylia, a luxury village with a private bay set in the seaside town of Bodrum, Turkey.

The Bargylia project is a gated village community consisting of 196 properties and is located on the Aegean coast. Its main attraction is the private bay situated at the foot of the complex and includes a stunning blue flag beach with 200 square metres of wooden decking. As well has having this idyllic beach setting, Bargylia has an exterior car park, built outside the village with the intention of keeping the area quiet and safe. Inside, chauffeur driven electric vehicles are provided in order for residents to move around effortlessly.

Ideally situated 15 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes from the centre of the beautiful town of Bodrum with its marina, castle and relaxing social life, Bargylia is just 2 km from a new golf course currently under construction.

Properties at Bargylia have been carefully recreated to blend into the traditional architecture of the region. Each home has its own unique design to allow buyers to choose from a diverse range of apartments and villas, which stand out from other standard developments in the area. Prices for a two-bedroom apartment measuring 82sqm start at £60,000.

Ali Ozturk, chairman of Regnum, comments: “Bodrum is a popular seaside resort due to its many recreational facilities. As a result of this it has a blossoming property market. There are a number of golfing projects being planned over the next few years, which will attract many new buyers to the area. Bargylia, unlike other areas of bustling Bodrum, is designed to reflect peace and relaxation. We are proud to be able to offer our buyers such a private and safe residential area which is also located close to the centre of town where they have access to more facilities.”

Regnum, which has offices in central London, Istanbul and Sofia, is also offering exclusive deals with a major financial institution to give buyers the first Turkish mortgage in the UK. Residents, both in the UK and overseas, can apply to borrow up to 80 per cent of the agreed purchase price in certain areas of Turkey, namely the Turkish Riviera and Istanbul. The minimum and maximum amounts allowed for the loans are €40,000 up to €200,000. The maximum permitted term is 20 years for someone up to the age of 70 years.

Facilities at Bargylia include a beach club, open air pool, children’s pool, jacuzzi, fitness centre, sauna, café, supermarket, first aid room, tennis court, children’s play ground, internet connection, golf practice area and 24 hour security. Properties come complete with basic furniture and white goods. A furniture package is available at an extra £4,500 for apartments and duplexes and an extra £6,500 for triplex villas.

Regnum reassures its buyers by offering a guarantee on international independent title deeds and international independent building design guarantees on all its properties.
