Hot Turkish Properties launches in the UK overseas property market

23rd May 2007 Print
Hot Turkish Properties (HTP) has joined forces with leading Turkish tour operator Holidays4U, to promote and sell quality villas and apartments in Turkey to the UK market for the first time, with the introduction of a new concept in overseas property purchase – Try and Buy.

Try and Buy offers property hunters the opportunity to take a week’s holiday at a prospective villa or apartments, on or near developments that they wish to purchase, from as little as £99 per person*. The only commitment required by HTP is for them to be available for one day, out of the seven day visit, to review properties in the area of interest.

David Bennett, Director of Hot Turkish Properties, said that, “Now is a great time to buy in Turkey. If you compare properties with other Mediterranean countries, the prices are much lower and the buildings of higher quality. Also, with Turkey currently in negotiations to join the European Union, it is a good time to invest in this country as the prices are tipped to rise dramatically. Some of our investors have already achieved 70% gains in only two years.”

The principle areas of the company’s property portfolio include Altinkum, Akbuk, Gocek, Fethiye, Kalkan, Kas and with the new Bodrum International Airport opening, the Bodrum peninsula will also be a focus for sales. A typical two bedroom two bathroom apartment is priced from £40,000, while a three bedroom villa with pool has a price tag in the region £106,000.

Example properties include the Appledore Villas in a stunning rural position in Ciflik on the Bodrum Peninsular, offering five bedrooms and two bathrooms and a communal pool for just £115,000. Alternatively, the Olive Tree Villas are located in nearby Gulluk, with stunning bay views, and are priced from £129,000 for a three bedroom and three bathroom unit.

Recent ‘re-zoning’ has allowed major growth in golf course development in Turkey with two 18 hole courses nearing completion only 15 minutes drive from Bodrum Airport, with another two courses expected in the Altinkum/Didum area and a further 18 hole course under construction near Dalaman Airport.

“Holiday rental prospects are excellent, and properties can yield as much as 15-17% per annum. Turkey should be of particular interest to golfers looking to buy property in the midst of some great new courses.” added Bennett.

HTP provides a service from beginning to end for clients. The properties are all hand picked and personally reviewed by the Turkish based team. In addition HTP only works with developers who offer structural guarantees and have a proven track record of completing builds on time.

Mete Faks, director of Holidays4U said, “Many of our clients ask us to recommend the best places to buy properties and to help them with the process of choosing and buying properties in Turkey. We have been looking for a trustworthy professional company to work with and to recommend to our clients and have found Hot Turkish Properties to be the best in this market. This is a great partnership and both companies can work together for the benefit of our clients.”

Holidays4u has recently launched low cost daily flights to Turkey with Aegean Flights, operating from all major UK airports to Dalaman and Bodrum, making travel to holiday villas even easier to arrange.
