Jo with sons Elliott (left) and Finlay Cabin crew member Jo Walker was looking for a new home destination when she touched down in Chorley. The British Airways employee knew she wanted to stay at Buckshaw Village in Euxton, after successfully renting a home in the popular village.

Her sons Elliot, 8 and Finlay, 6, were settled in the local schools and the whole family loved the vibrant community atmosphere so much they chose to buy on the development.

So when a three-bedroom home was offered for sale by developers Redrow Homes nearby Jo jumped at the chance to settle in their own home.

Said Jo: “We had been renting on the development and we really loved the village atmosphere.

“So when a new home became available to buy we were really keen. It is a really safe environment for my sons and the village amenities are great.

“The accessibility to the motorway network was really important to me, as I commute to Heathrow airport.”

Redrow is the lead developer at the award-winning Buckshaw Village where an entire community has taken shape with new homes and plans for a new railway station, primary school, health centre and outdoor sports amenities.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) said: “Buckshaw Village is a great choice for a young family and we were delighted to be able to offer Jo the perfect home when she decided she wanted to move somewhere close.

“There is a great range of facilities on your doorstep and it provides a really safe ideal environment for two boys to grow up in.”

Buckshaw Village is set in the heart of Lancashire, between the M6 and the M61.
