Detached living highlighted at The Oaks Bryant Homes has given house hunters in Leyland two more reasons to visit its development on Golden Hill Lane, with the opening of the Farlborough and the Longworth show homes. Both homes at The Oaks are luxurious four bedroom detached properties and showcase the lifestyle on offer when buying from Bryant.

Chloe Dunn, Bryant sales manager for The Oaks, said: "These two new show homes are designed to show our visitors the kind of high standard they can expect from a Bryant home. It also allows visitors to envisage their life here - and get a few decorating tips!

"The Oaks is a great development and is perfect for families, couples and friends sharing, thanks to the attractive surroundings, stylish homes, local amenities and great transport links."

The ground floor of the Longworth has a kitchen with utility room, separate dining room with double doors opening to the garden, lounge and cloakroom. On the first floor viewers will find four bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities and a large bathroom.

Meanwhile the three storey Farlborough has a spacious lounge, kitchen with dining room and separate utility room plus cloakroom on the ground floor. The first floor has two luxury bedrooms, both of which boast double fitted wardrobes and en-suite facilities, while two further bedrooms and a family bathroom are located on the second floor.

Both homes also have a garage and private garden. Prices for a Longworth home start at £247,995 and £276,995 for a Farlborough.

Other property types available at the Oaks include two bedroom apartments, three bedroom townhouses and three and four bedroom detached homes. Prices start from £131,995 for a two bedroom apartment.

Purchasers at The Oaks are being offered the chance to buy their dream home but pay only 75% of the purchase price and no deposit through a new scheme called Market Plus.

Homeowners have the reassurance that they own 100% of their property from day one and only need to find a mortgage on the remaining 75%. The other 25% is provided rent and interest free by Bryant Homes for up to ten years, at which point purchasers repay 25% of their home's current market value. This means that the starting price for a home at The Oaks is just £98,995.

The Oaks is about much more than great homes as great prices - the development also delivers when it comes to location. Leyland itself offers an extensive range of shops, eateries and bars, while nearby leisure facilities such as Worden Hall, Longton Brickcroft and Cuerden Valley Country Park mean even the keenest outdoor enthusiast will be spoilt for choice when it comes to possible activities, from walking and hiking to cycling and fishing.

Parents considering the development will be pleased to hear that schools in the area rank highly in the county league tables and include Balshaw's Church of England High School, Runshaw College and Wellfield Business & Enterprise College.

The Oaks is also well positioned for commuters. Leyland is within minutes of the M65, M61 and M6, making Greater Manchester only half an hour away, while rail connections to the West Coast mainline give excellent access to Scotland, the Midlands and London.
