New homes at Buckshaw Village enjoy an added bonus

New homes at Buckshaw Village enjoy an added bonus Redrow Homes has found a way to make its ‘easi-buy' deferred payment scheme stand out from the crowd - home owners can save themselves thousands of pounds if they pay off the outstanding balance early.

Customers of the award winning housebuilder who use easi-buy will own 100% of their new home from day one, but can defer up to 25% of the purchase price for 10 years.

And for those who find themselves able to repay the outstanding balance within the first three years there are substantial cash savings to be made on a sliding scale.

At Worden Court at Buckshaw Village, near Chorley, for example, easi-buy is available on a selected two-bedroom coach house. Its full purchase price is £134,995 but currently it can be bought for an initial outlay of just £101,245. A customer who is able to redeem the 25% deferred payment in the first year will save a massive £13,500.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) says: "Easi-buy is a great option for first time buyers looking to get onto the property ladder and maybe even those who are trading up but want to gradually step up their commitments.

They will own 100% of the property straight away but will be able to defer 25% of the total cost to a time when they have more funds available.

"For those whose financial circumstances change for the better more quickly than expected - perhaps because of a job promotion, windfall, inheritance or becoming one half of a couple - the option of repaying the deferred element early and pocketing a substantial saving is a real bonus. This really sets Redrow's easi-buy incentive apart from other deferred payment schemes."

Redrow ‘easi-buy' is the latest in a number of incentives offered under the umbrella of ‘re:assure', all of them designed to make moving as easy as possible from the moment of first enquiry right through until after the customer has moved in.

Christine adds: "We take a flexible approach to helping our customers and work with them and a network of financial advisers, estate agents and other property professionals in a bid to find the most appropriate solution to their housing needs. We don't believe in a ‘one size fits all' approach. Easi-buy is one option but we have others, including mortgage subsidies, part exchange and helping with a deposit, stamp duty, legal fees and / or other moving costs."

Worden Court is part of the impressive Buckshaw Village venture that's delivering over 2,000 homes and commercial space close to Chorley and Leyland town centres. With green open spaces, leisure facilities and shops also featured, buyers can be part of a new exciting community.
