Would you like to own a new home for just 70% of the price right now? Well you could do just that with the help of the Government backed ‘stepping stone’ to home ownership - ‘Homebuy Direct’.

Like to know how? Drop in to the Marketing Suite at Miller Homes’ “Willow Fields” development in Wesham Village, near Kirkham on Saturday 21st March for the ‘Homebuy Direct Discovery Day’ hosted by the house builder of the year. The event runs from 10.30am to 5.30pm.

The event has been organized to help people establish if they are eligible for the scheme and pre-register. Homebuy Direct has already attracted a great deal of interest in these credit crunch times. So much interest, that Miller Homes is arranging the free to attend event to assist potential homebuyers through the scheme. On the day there will be an independent Financial Adviser on hand to offer free mortgage advice and consultations, plus news on all the types of homes offered by Miller Homes in the Homebuy Direct scheme.

Homebuy Direct is a Government led low cost home ownership initiative, run in partnership with Miller Homes on selected developments. It is offered to households with an income of less than £60,000. The qualifying criteria is aimed at providing wide access to home ownership and is open to; first time buyers, key workers and people re-entering the property market after a relationship breakdown or families living in overcrowded accommodation. It will help more people who have found it almost impossible to get a foot on or climb the property ladder, either due to the tightening of mortgage lending or because they have struggled to raise the deposits they need to secure a brand new home.
