A new home and a new start

Karen Carey and Chris Gallagher recently moved into their new luxury home at Miller Homes’ ‘Willow Fields’ development in Wesham, and are full of excitement and plans for their future.

Not only are Karen and Chris enjoying their beautiful new home, they are now planning their wedding, after Chris surprised Karen by asking her to marry him on the day they moved in. Karen explains: “It’s been amazing. I was so excited about our new home, so when Chris proposed it just completed a perfect day. It was totally unexpected, but a wonderful surprise. We have also got a new puppy, who is enjoying exploring the area when we take him for long walks! Life is just great, it’s the start of a whole new chapter.”

Karen and Chris moved to the area last year, having decided to move to Lancashire, where Chris used to live and to be close to Chris’s family. Once they made the decision to buy a home, instead of renting, the search was on to find the perfect location. After many hours of looking at different developments and house styles, Karen and Chris found Miller Homes’ ‘Willow Fields’ in Wesham and have never looked back.

Karen says: “We loved the location the first time we visited ‘Willow Fields’, it’s perfect for work, it’s close to Chris’s family and is surrounded by fantastic places to visit. As soon as we entered the ‘Latimer’, which is an unusual home as it’s over three floors, we both instantly knew that this was the home for us. The layout suits us and is very different to what we have lived in before. It’s also an end plot on the development, which was exactly what we wanted.”
