The picturesque views from HydrO Apartment living is an increasingly growing trend amongst young 20 and 30-somethings in the East Midlands area as they continue to opt for a more continental way of life and this is no more prevalent than at Persimmon Homes’ HydrO development in St Neots.

According to Persimmon, low maintenance, increased security and value for money are just a few reasons why youngsters are now considering apartments to be the way forward and with a wide range of waterside-apartments available at HydrO at St Neots, a stunning development that borders the Great Ouse, buyers won’t have to look too far to find the home of their dreams.

Adrian Evans, managing director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands comments: “Our contemporary two and three bedroom apartments at Hydro are ideal for first time buyers looking to stop renting and get a foot on the property ladder as they not only make a perfect home, but are also a sound investment and would be ideal to rent out should the owner decide to make their next move.

“Ask most people to describe the home of their dreams and it's a safe bet that water will probably feature somewhere as there’s no denying the fact that being by water is extremely calming and therapeutic.”

Persimmon is currently offering househunters the perfect move in incentive, all purchasers have to pay is a £99 deposit and they will also benefit from Persimmon’s ‘Platinum Package’, which includes five per cent deposit paid, one per cent towards stamp duty, a choice of sumptuous fitted carpets throughout and £250 towards legal fees.

HydrO comprises a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes with a number of properties on the development enjoying views over the water. The development is proving a number one choice for househunters looking for a picturesque location with excellent access to major towns and cities and whilst HydrO enjoys a quiet location, it also benefits from excellent transport links north and south via the A1 and A428, making it ideal for commuters. Bedford is just a 20 minute drive away and Cambridge can be reached in 30 minutes or leave the car at home, jump on the train and you can be in Kings Cross in 45 minutes.

Two bedroom apartments at HydrO are currently priced from £206,995.
