Sales success in Soham

4th September 2007 Print
Sale Signs Persimmon Homes Anglia has reported that the launch weekend of the company’s Saxon Place development in Soham was an instant success.

Sales adviser on site, Anne Jackson, explains: “We took reservations on 12 per cent of the properties on site, demonstrating the demand for quality new homes in the area. We were run off our feet at the much anticipated launch weekend, with several interested parties all looking to secure their dream home.”

Saxon Place consists of a mix of 44 of two, three, four, five and five/six bedroom executive homes on offer. Prices at the development start from £199,950.

Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, adds: “This is the first time we have built in Soham, and with the choice range of homes from two bedroom starter properties through to six bedroom luxury homes, we’ve catered for all purchasers and their budgets.”

The development is built in a series of cul-de-sacs, offering a quiet haven to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Jon concludes: “Saxon Place is the most westerly point the company has built at to date. The opening of the site has yet again confirmed the desire of buyers to move from cities and towns towards more rural areas for an enhanced lifestyle whilst retaining the ability to work in an urban environment.”

The town of Soham, has all the everyday amenities, with shops, a local supermarket, restaurants and cafes as well as neighbouring schools and healthcare facilities. The development is situated close to the A142, A14 and the A11, meaning Cambridge and Newmarket are within easy reach. Ely’s train station is just a matter of minutes away, making the commute to London and beyond a viable option.
