Attractive homes available to all with Persimmon Homes According to recent figures released by the Halifax, due to rising demand for homes, Cambridge is one of three towns in East Anglia to deliver the fastest rise in house prices the region has seen, with a staggering 22 per cent increase to £287,536 since this time last year.

Yet househunters in Cambridge need not fear the continued rise in property prices as Persimmon Homes’ Anglia and East Midlands regions have a range of properties at their Saxon Place development in Soham, Persimmon Court site in Cambourne and Renaissance in Arbury which are among some of the most competitively priced on the market.

Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia comments: “Across the Persimmon Group, our ethos is to enable all househunters no matter what their circumstances or budget to buy desirable houses in sought-after locations and property hotspots such as the Cambridge area are no exception.”

At Saxon Place, Persimmon is offering a range of enticing incentives to help make the buying process that much simpler and cost effective. The deals include up to £3,000 discount, a choice range of carpets and part exchange for those with homes to sell.

Steve Mathews, sales director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands adds: “With pleasant surroundings, all the necessary amenities close by and excellent commuter routes, it’s no wonder Cambridge has become such a desirable place to live, and our reasonably priced homes at neighbouring Saxon Place, Persimmon Court and Renaissance allow a host of purchasers to also enjoy everything the Cambridge area has to offer.

“Jon and I have seen properties being snapped up at our Cambridge developments, so I’d urge those interested to speak to our expert sales advisers at the development before they miss out.”

The town of Soham, has all the everyday amenities, with shops, a local supermarket, restaurants and cafes as well as neighbouring schools and healthcare facilities. The development is situated close to the A142, A14 and the A11, meaning Cambridge and Newmarket are within easy reach. Ely’s train station is just a matter of minutes away, making the commute to London and beyond a viable option.

Persimmon Court is located in the recently formed community of Cambourne, which offers all the necessary amenities including schools, shops as well as leisure and health facilities. The town is also surrounded by parks and woodland, whilst still situated just nine miles from the centre of Cambridge, which is ideal for those wanting a short commute.

Arbury is one of Cambridge’s best kept secrets and with the cycle and pedestrian routes as well as a community centre and play areas planned as part of Persimmon’s ongoing commitment to the area, it really will be a special place to live.
