Persimmon Homes hosts open weekend For youngsters setting out onto the property ladder, they’d be forgiven for being a bit daunted by the whole concept, which is why Persimmon Homes East Midlands is hosting an open weekend for would-be buyers.

The event, which is being held at the company’s Renaissance development in Arbury on 8th and 9th December, will give potential purchasers the chance to speak to leading experts about the buying process and how they can make it cost effective and as simple a prospect as possible.

Steve Matthews, sales director for Persimmon Homes East Midlands, comments: “At Persimmon we understand how difficult the process of buying a first home can be, which is why we’re launching our open weekend at Renaissance.

“We will be demonstrating to purchasers where savings can be made and will also be explaining our Move into a Showhome initiative, where if purchasers buy a home with us they can hand pick their interior design scheme courtesy of Persimmon.”

Persimmon will also be offering potential purchasers the chance to take advantage of the company’s Dream Come True scheme, a shared equity option where the buyer pays for just 75 per cent of the property. The remaining 25 per cent then remains interest free for ten years.

Steve concludes: “We will also be offering drinks and nibbles to all who attend and along with our sales team, an interior designer and financial adviser will be on hand to discuss any personal requirements and budgets, therefore simplifying the buying process. We’re welcoming anyone who’s interested to join us on the weekend.”

Renaissance consists of a beautiful range of contemporary two bedroom apartments and coach houses as well as a selection of three and four bedroom homes. Prices at the development start from £119,995.

Arbury is one of Cambridge’s best kept secrets and with the cycle and pedestrian routes as well as a community centre and play areas planned as part of Persimmon’s ongoing commitment to the area, it really will be a special place to live.

The facilities and attractions of Cambridge are within easy reach for home owners at Renaissance, with shopping centres such as the Grafton Centre, Lion Yard and the Grand just around the corner. There is also a plethora of restaurants, bistros and pubs which cater for every pocket and taste.
