David Wilson Homes makes Maureen's move easy

David Wilson Homes makes Maureen's move easy After three separate buyers pulled out of purchasing Maureen Bray's home she was ready to take her bungalow off the market and forget her plans to move closer to her family in Hampton Vale. Her hopes of relocating were however revived when she found out about David Wilson Homes' part exchange scheme.

Maureen, who's 68 comments: "Every time I sold my house I was jumping for joy and making plans to move closer to my daughter and grandchild, but people kept pulling out for various reasons and I thought I would never get a sale. I started to get really stressed, worried and downhearted and was getting resolved to the fact I may have to stay where I was.

"When I visited David Wilson Homes' Waters Edge development in Hampton Vale I told them all about my situation and the sales advisor was really helpful and explained their Part Exchange scheme. They took care of everything for me and what's more I was able to stay in my own home until my new one was ready and I could move straight in."

Ronel Segar, sales director for David Wilson Homes South Midlands, comments: "Our fantastic Part Exchange scheme is ideal for people like Maureen and really helps purchasers overcome those uncertainties commonly associated with moving home such as chains that break, which often leave purchasers out-of-pocket, living in rented accommodation or in extreme cases not able to move into their dream home."

Maureen was originally planning to downsize but she fell in love with the four bedroom Cadeby home at Waters Edge. "I've got plenty of space now for when the grandchildren visit. They love my new home almost as much as I do as they each get their own bedroom when they come to stay."

The ground floor of the Cadeby comprises a generous lounge and a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining and family area with sliding French doors which open onto the garden providing fantastic views of the idyllic scenery.

The home benefits from the clever use of space throughout the upper floors with the first floor comprising two double bedrooms, one with ensuite and one with integrated wardrobes, plus a family bathroom. A third bedroom is also on this floor and could easily form a family study or playroom.

Finally, on second floor a spacious master bedroom boasts a dressing room with integrated wardrobes and a stunning ensuite, creating the ideal retreat to relax after a long day.

A top class location

"When my granddaughter was born I used to have to catch three buses just to get to see her and whenever I visited I would always take her out in her pram around Hampton Vale", says Maureen, "now this perfect location is right on my doorstep with nearby shops and beautiful scenery I couldn't ask for more."
