GP rings in the changes with a new home

Church bell enthusiast Inga Wilson is ringing in the changes in a brand new home in the picturesque village of Ailsworth, near Peterborough, thanks to Redrow's part-exchange deal. Inga, a 33-year-old doctor, cashed in her three-bedroom house in Birmingham to put towards a four-bedroom home at The Sycamores.

She said: "I was born in Peterborough and lived here until I was 18, when I went away to university. Since qualifying as a GP three years ago, I had been working as a locum doctor with no fixed place of work but I always knew I wanted to move back near my family, which includes three nephews and a niece.

"When I decided the time was right to move, everything fitted into place nicely. Just after completion on my property I was offered and accepted a permanent post at a local health centre so it was great to start the new year with both a new house and a new job.

"I was very pleased to be offered the opportunity to part exchange. It meant I could get on with buying and moving into my new house, without months of waiting for my old house to sell first. It worked well for me and I found the Redrow sales team very friendly and helpful."
