With the average time taken to sell a house at an all time high and gazundering on the up, the hardest part of buying a new home may be selling the one you live in now. According to research by personal finance site Fool.co.uk, one in six people have experienced gazundering - the practice of a buyer waiting until the last minute of a sale before lowering the offer price, therefore threatening the chain.
