St Neots residents can let the train take the strain With rising fuels costs and growing congestion, more people are ditching their cars in favour of greener and cheaper public transport - which makes Redrow's development in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, just the ticket. According to a recent YouGov poll,* train use has increased dramatically since petrol prices rocketed this year and people are becoming more aware of their carbon footprint.

So it's no wonder the Redrow @ Loves Farm venture, situated within walking distance from the local railway station, is proving popular.

As well as being drawn to the contemporary apartments and spacious homes, buyers are also sold on the fact that London is just under an hour away and Cambridge can be reached in up to an hour and a half - commuting heaven for city workers in search of a home away from the rat race.

Mary Timlin, sales director for Redrow (South Midlands), says: "When it comes to letting the train take the strain, our Loves Farm venture couldn't be more perfectly located for city workers based in London or Cambridge, who appreciate the easy commute.

"Purchasers can use the journey to catch up with work, plan their day or simply unwind, which is impossible if you're behind the wheel. And what's more there's no ridiculous early rise with the journey to London; the train which leaves at 7.30am gets you to Kings Cross for 8.29am - leaving enough time to pick up some breakfast or connecting tubes.

"Our selection of homes found at Redrow @ Loves Farm offers something which is nearly impossible to find in the bigger cities - spacious homes minus the hefty price tag. And, not just suited to young professionals, the venture has something for every type of buyer from growing families, to downsizers and even friends looking to share."

Redrow @ Loves Farm, situated off Cambridge Road, boasts a range of two-bedroom apartments currently available from £157,995, and four-bedroom terrace houses priced at £259,995.

Also prospective purchasers on the look out for the easiest route to owning their own, home can speak to the on-site sales consultant about a number of flexible incentives available under the umbrella of ‘re:assure from Redrow'.

The prosperous market town of St Neots boasts many shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, including a cinema. Undoubtedly the main attraction of the town is the Great River Ouse and Riverside Park, but the Priory Centre also caters for entertainments needs, with attractions from comedians to plays, sporting events and an annual folk festival.

Cambridgeshire's largest town also enjoys close road links with the A1, M1 and M11, while Stansted Airport is around an hour away.
