Going up in the world thanks to Persimmon

Current speculation that the UK housing market is about to experience a slump has caused scare mongering among househunters across the country, with several potential purchasers now believing that they can't afford to move up the property ladder.

Persimmon Homes Anglia is dispelling this rumour as the homes available at its Saxon Place in Soham are priced to allow a wide variety of purchasers to make that dream move.

Jon Gibbs, sales director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, explains: "For homeowners who have overgrown their two bedroom home or expanding families who are desperate for a further bedroom, but don't think they have the finances to move can think again, as our three, four, five and even six bedroom properties at Saxon Place are so competitively priced, we don't expect them to remain on the price list for much longer."

Take for example the three / four bedroom Denbigh design, which is priced at £192,650, but also includes a range of incentives to help make the moving in process that much simpler and cost effective. Persimmon is currently offering its ‘Helping Hand' shared equity scheme, where you can secure 100 per cent of your new home for just 85 per cent of the price. Under this initiative, the Denbigh would cost just £163,750*. Persimmon is also offering its Assisted Move incentive, where the company will help to market your existing home and will pay the estate agents fees.

Jon continues: "With the centre of Cambridge just 20 minutes away and our comparatively low prices for the area, Saxon Place is a haven for purchasers who want more room but don't think they can afford it. I'd urge those looking in the area to speak to our sales advisers who will be able to assist you in finding the right home to trade up to for the right price."

Saxon Place has the added bonus of being situated close to the A14, making it an extremely accessible location. Purchasers at Saxon Place are reaping the benefits of being located in close proximity to the centre of Cambridge.
