Home Buy Direct at Waters Edge in Peterborough

Housebuilder, David Wilson South Midlands, is inviting potential customers along to its Home Buy Direct open evening at its Waters Edge development in Peterborough this Thursday where an Independent Financial Advisor will be on hand to explain everything buyers need to know about this new Government initiative.

Home Buy Direct is a Government scheme which aims to make the buying process more affordable and it is hoped this will help more first time buyers, key workers and those living in rented accommodation, get a foot on the property ladder during the current economic climate. Expanding families with a household income of less than £60,000 may also be eligible for the scheme.

With Home Buy Direct, purchasers can buy a property for just 70 per cent of the asking price, David Wilson and the Government will fund the remaining 30 per cent through an equity loan which is interest free for five years and payable when the property is sold.
